18th Century Shirt – Patchwork | Historical Wardrobe

I sewed a patchwork version of the 18th Century shirt that I have previously on this channel. I used the schematic from Bernadette Banner’s pirate shirt video with the added neck gussets as described in Ora Lin’s video about their version of this shirt.

All of the fabric in this shirt is either a linen or a linen/rayon blend that has been naturally dyed by me in a series of natural dye experiments.

This shirt is entirely handsewn with white, waxed linen thread.
